Homework

- Homework will NOT be added to the classroom blog.

- There is not a lot of homework in grades 2/3. Homework is generally work that was not finished during class time. An abundance of homework is a good indication that class time is not being used appropriately.

- Homework is written on the white board in the classroom and students are given time during at the end of the day to write their homework into their school provided agenda books.

- Students are reminded after each period, and at the end of each day what their homework is, and to put their folders in their Communication Bags.

- It is the responsibility of the student to keep track of the work that is due, and remember to bring it home and back to school.

- Keeping track of homework helps students learn essential life and learning skills such as "organization" and "self regulation"

- Homework completion is tracked regularly for report card progress
